Mary Williams Dollshouse Dolls
Just a few of the stunning dolls that will be on Mary William's stand at Miniatura ( C6) this weekend...these are just some of my favourites...
Aren't they great? I just hope the card players don't catch on to the fact that this lovely lady is getting out of the bath right beside them...
I am so looking forward to spending time with Mary and Debie Lyons http://www.piskiesandpoppets.com/ at Miniatura. Mary has kindly offered to display a selection of my hats and has been extremely patient with my barrage of questions and excitement! You can see more of the stunning dolls that she will be taking to Miniatura on her blog http://marywilliamsdollshousedollsblog.blogspot.com/
Do pop by and see us if you are in Birmingham.
Only 4 more sleeps Mary!!

Venetian carnival
I started this theme back in February and add some more pieces to it every so often. I love getting carried away with all the ruffles...
The stands were beautifully turned for me by long-suffering miniature artisan Tom Saunders...a man of endless patience with my whims and demands :D . Each one is different and they really are very elegant indeed!
Oops...and of course there's a matching 'chapeau'

Miss Amelia at Miniatura!!
Well I still can't believe it but I'm going to Miniatura!! Those of you who know me well will know that I have always wanted to go to one of the larger fairs in person but between babies, school terms and flight prices it just hasn't ever been possible.
Doll artisan, Mary Williams of http://marywilliamsdollshousedollsblog.blogspot.com had offered to display some of my millinery together with her stunning dolls this October but when my wonderful husband suggested that I might like to go too...well he didn't have to ask twice!! Poor Mary doesn't know what she's let herself in for...
I really can't wait to meet everyone. I know so many of you from the years of working with miniatures, through various groups and more recently through my work with the Artisans in Miniature magazine that it will be great to have a chat and put faces to names at last.
I will make sure that I try to get round everyone's stand but if you want to find me I'll be at Mary Williams stand from 12.00 - 13.00 on both Saturday and Sunday.
See you there!

End of the Summer and my very first post!
Well here it is...the end of a long, beautiful summer. It started to spit with rain today and the children are back at school so it's officially Autumn in my book and time to catch up with all sorts of things.
I've been meaning to start this blog for simply ages and have finally got round to it so I hope you'll bear with me while I sort out my widgets and gadets and watchamacallits.
Hopefully it will be a way to let everyone know what I am up to and get some feedback from you as to the sort of things that you would like to see me working on over the next few months.
For those of you who haven't come across my work before I hope that you will enjoy browsing through my website and for my many friends and customers worldwide I look forward to being able to keep in touch and let you know what I am working on.
Happy Autumn!
Janine
